Samus Aran Art

One of my all time favourite games for the SNES is Super Metroid. It’s a great platformer puzzle game, and depending on how quickly you beat it, you different endings. Which is when I found out for the first time that Samus Aran was actually a woman. How cool is that! Nintendo was ahead of the curve on that one. It’s a shame that the sentiment got ruined by making the outfit increasingly more skimpy, but it was definitely a start.
Now I found this piece of art from a post on Tumblr, and it took a bit to track down the original creator, but I believe that this work was originally made by Mujo over at deviant art. I really love the style, and overall look of this piece. Very cool!
