I’ve never described anything He Man related as “cute” before. But these guys all look so cute. Even the super sulky Skeletor. I think that Patrick Ballesteros really nailed this picture perfectly. Every one of the villains looks exactly like their 3rd grade counterpart should.

If you’re at Comic-Con right now, you should be able to grab yourself a copy of this.. somewhere. I wish I could have been there, it sounds like a blast!

Yearbook pictures were always a blast, mostly for the students but I felt bad for the teacher that always had to wrangle us in. This is my take on what a yearbook picture would be for these tiny “Masters of the Classroom.” This print measure 12″x18″ and is $20. I’m pretty sure you can find a stencil for whatever kind of nerdy floats your boat though.

I made these Star Wars pillow cases using this freezer stencil method (and oh man is it easy and addictive!) and some stencils for pumpkin carving I found online. There are TONS of those pumpkin carving stencils in every theme imaginable so I’m sure I’ll be asked to do some Harry Potter ones soon enough!

Basically you iron your shirt/pillowcase whatever, print out your design on freezer paper , cut out with an exacto knife, iron the pattern on shiny side down with the DRY setting of your iron, paint with fabric paint (with cardboard under the fabric), lift off freezer paper when dry, heat set with the iron, and there you go!

The print itself is only $15, which isn’t super cheap, but is still in the realm of “reasonable”.

I suppose you could always get your own vintage dictionary. It would definitely cost less per print, and you could make a bunch of different prints of your very own.

Doctor Who Tardis with Robin on an antique recycled vintage dictionary art page print.

The artwork is digitally printed directly onto an old encyclopaedia page and each print is hand signed.

It comes unframed and unmounted and at one size, which is: 7.6 inches x 10.5 inches / 19.8cm x 26.5cm approx. It fits nicely within an A4 frame with a mount if desired. (The frames shown are for illustration purposes only, they are not for sale).

These pages are all cut from bound books, this means that the left margins can differ slightly in width.

The page shown here is from the same book your print will be on, though the background text will differ, so each one is 100% unique.

The pages are rescued from old books, so they can contain some minor imperfections due to their age.

The photo of the prints hanging in the room is not to scale. The prints have been enlarged so that you can see them more clearly.

Your print will be protected in a re-sealable plastic photo bag and sent in a protective envelope.
