]]>I’ve never heard of Moraff’s stones before I ran across this instructable, so I’m not sure how true to the original CrazyClever has managed to get their conversion. Regardless, it’s a very cool looking board game. In their instructable they walk us through the process they did while creating the game. So if you’re looking to make your own version, you’ll either have to message them there, or replicate what’s been done in the same way that they did; by trial and error.
What I like about this most is getting to see some of the though process that went into creating a custom board game. I wish there was about 100 more pictures though, since it would be an interesting thing to see how this whole thing progressed from idea to completion. Still a cool instructable though. And of course the game itself looks fantastic.
Stones is an old DOS game created by Steve Moraff in 1990 as a part of his Moraff’s World series of adventure games. It is a gambling/ trading game where you are pitted against monsters in a tavern, trying to earn the strongest hand. It is a four person game and it is fun for most age levels, so it should make for a great family game.

]]>As classic video games go, Pac-Man’s way up at the top of most lists. Even if it doesn’t have the seemingly endless amount of choices games like Skyrim or Fallout have to offer, it’s still a fun game to play nowadays. Sam McDougall has put together a pattern you can use to bring this classic from the screen to your clothing. Now he doesn’t include the Pac Man Board Pattern in a specific pattern. Just the pattern for the board itself, so if you want to actually make something with this, you’ll either need to apply it to an existing pattern, or send Sam an email to bynxdesigns@gmail.com and ask her about the hat pattern she used to show this pattern off.
With this chart, you can create many objects from throw pillows, to blankets, to a very slouchy hat!
The Game Board chart is blank so that you may put the ‘pieces’ wherever you wish! Each ghost & gobbler are a 5×5 chart and fit anywhere on the board to make each project one of a kind!

]]>As far as TARDIS’s go, there’s only a few ways fans typically make them. And that’s a big or small blue box that goes somewhere. What isn’t typical is when you’ve opened the door to go inside is to find an entire control room there. Especially not one as crazy as the one YouTuber Todd has created. It’s got so many bells and whistles that it’s hard to see all of them in a single viewing. There’s switches and knobs galore. There’s a working computer built into the panels. Heck, there’s even a flux capacitor. Which is a nice touch if I do say so myself.
Of course any description I try to give really won’t do it justice, so be sure to watch the video below to see this magnificent piece of work.
And we begin this week with a moment of appreciation for one man’s single-minded devotion to the TARDIS. As regular Who’s Day readers will know, quite a few Whovians have the skills required to knock up a police box, whether as a shed, or a cake, or the front of their wardrobe.
However, YouTuber The Todd deserves a round of applause, as he has spent over a year creating a TARDIS in his back garden that contains a console that actually serves as a serviceable work desk, complete with hidden keyboard, DVD-drive (and what looks like some 8-track cartridges), screen, and flux capacitor.
