]]>I am a HUGE fan of the whole Lord of the Rings / Hobbit series. I grew up reading the books, and have been able to see all of the films since the beginning… even the craptacular 80s hobbit cartoon. So I decided that I would try my hand at making a super simple piece of jewelry to make any LotR fan happy. And I think I succeeded. This Eye of Sauron pendant only takes about an hour (or less) to make, and takes very little in the way of crafting skill to put together.
The last Hobbit movie is coming out later this year, and to get the party started, I figured I’d show you how to make a super simple DIY eye of Sauron pendant.

So I’m not the type of person who gets really excited about any particular kind of jewelry. Especially not rings. But OH MAN this TARDIS ring is pretty. The outside of the band has bumps that are suspiciously like the Bumps on a Dalek’s armour, and the TARDIS actually spins in its socket. How bloody cool is that!
All it needs now is a tiny jewelled doctor to pop out of it, and it’s perfect!
If you’re looking for a whole lot more pretty, be sure to check out Pauls whole album of shiny things

]]>If you’re looking for the perfect trophy to represent your victory over the little life suckers than look no further. These metroid parasite pendants are available for custom order, so I have no idea how much one of these runs costwise. Ideally not too much, since they’re super awesome, and every metroid fan should have one.
We’re getting more into the old-school stuff. Here’s a classy pendant for a classic game. These cute little endangered buggers are crafted out of solid brass, antiqued, polished to a soft shine, then decorated with red gems. They don’t want to hurt you, they only want your love….and your life energy. Just a bit of that too.
CHAIN/CORD: Each comes hung on an 18″ gold-toned chain by default but your chain can also be 20″, or 22″ if you like. We also have 18″ braided black leather cords, if you’re looking for something a little more manly. If you’d like something other than the default, please specify which you’d like in “Note to Seller”. We’re working on getting longer cord necklaces.

Made up of two cylon warrior heads from Battlestar Galactica (2004 BSG) and using components from his grandmothers ring, Michael Moragne has designed and made one of the coolest engagement rings I’ve ever seen. Talk about a serious *puts on sunglasses* commitment to the show.
I wish both of them the best, and hope that their marriage lasts longer than the BSG remake.
. So say we all.
I only recently watched the entire BSG series. And now that it’s over, I miss it. There’s just something that it had that made you want to keep watching, and watching and watching. The characters were complex, the stories robust, and the acting superb. That, and the sexy cylons didn’t hurt either.
I have high hopes for the Blood & Chrome series. I really hope that they can turn it into a full fledged TV show, or at the very least, a longer running web show. I think it has the potential to bring back all the good stuff that caprica seemed to be missing.
The Cylons were created by man. They evolved. They rebelled. There are many copies. And they have a plan
