]]>I do love me some Adventure Time, so I’m game for seeing crafts people make out of the show in pretty much any capacity, but these adorable little guys are some of the best crochet dolls I’ve seen so far.
I recently started watching Adventure Time on Cartoon Network UK with my boys (I only just found out we could get it on our subscription). It’s a great show, suitable for kids (maybe not very young ones) and adults – the humour’s fun and weird but not mean. It’s set in a colourful, fantastical post-apocalyptic world with Finn, a 12/13 year old boy (the only human we know of) and Jake the dog, who is capable of stretching or shrinking to almost any size or shape. They have all sorts of adventures – Finn is pretty handy with a sword – and sing cute little songs.

]]>These Adventure Time papercrafts are incredible. They really capture the characters bang on, and look simple enough that it looks like they could be done super quick. I’ll definitely have to send a request to get the pattern for some of these, since I think they’d make a pretty cool vlog entry.
I’ve made no effort to hide my love of Adventure Time. It’s just such an awesome show. I love the characters, and the story lines while crazy, are super fun to watch. I even occasionally feel bad for the Ice King. At least I do right up until he does something completely evil again (Poor Gunter)
An ongoing personal project creating papercrafts out of my favorite characters from the cartoon Adventure Time. (Disclaimer: I don’t own Adventure Time. This is a personal project and no profit is being made!)
The initial 3D model of the character is made and colored in Cinema 4D, converted into a printable pattern using Pepakura Designer, with final adjustments in Photoshop. Printed on basic printer paper and constructed with regular Elmer’s glue.
The goal is to not only make it look like the character, but also to make the pattern simple enough that it could be easily remade by other people. Patterns are available on request! (send me an email at: emclainable@gmail.com)

]]>Having just been through easter, I thought that these eggs were super appropriate. If I’m still watching the show next year, I may have to give these a shot.
Could NOT figure out how to classify this…. I don’t think Easter eggs fall under a listed type of media up there! So I stuck it in fan art, because I guess it sort of is! Well anyway, the obvious: I love making themed Easter eggs (I don’t use dye anymore, I just Sharpie ’em) and this year it’s my favorite show, ADVENTURE TIME! Finn, Jake, PB, and LSP. Wish I could have done more but I am sleepy.
