Marko calls his recent work “Superhero Noir Posters”, with each one featuring a superhero in a scene that many fans would recognize. Anyone can slap a superhero (or two) onto a poster and share it with the whole world, but it does takes a special kind of something to make it dark and utterly beautiful. While I do love my poppy colors, Marko’s superhero noir posters make something stir deep inside me. Take a look for yourself, and you just might see what I mean.

Splatter Paint Superheroes

So the title on this gallery is “Superheroes get the pollock treatment”. But that’s really not a good representation of what the pictures are (as the reddit comments will MORE than tell you). But that doesn’t make these splatter paint superheroes by Melissa Smith any less awesome. If anything, these are better than any pollock “painting” if you ask me. These actually look like something once they’re done, instead of just some random droppings on a canvas. But then, I prefer art that’s of something rather than the abstract stuff. But that’s just me.
